With in-depth coverage of such topics as material consumption and its drivers, the material lifecycle, eco-informed material selection, renewable materials and sustainability, along with eco-profiles of more than 60 widely used materials, this book will appeal not only to instructors of materials science and selection courses, but to professional materials engineers and product designers as well.

Stylepark

Stylepark Material Editions provide designers, interior designers, architects and materials enthusiasts with a completely new way of accessing materials: For each Material Edition, the Material editorial team compiles 20-60 A5-size material samples on selected themes determined by substance group, characteristics or fields of application.
Detailed information on every single material is available in the Stylepark database and can be accessed using a web code found on the sample.
